What is SMS Express?
SMS Express is a new offering that enables you to get SMS notifications on your Standard Lesotho Bank account, and helps you to monitor ATM and Point of Sale (POS) transactions, anytime and anywhere.
How does it work?
As a Standard Lesotho Bank client, you will receive notifications of ATM and Point of Sale transactions on your account, for the following:
- Cash withdrawals at ATMs
- Balance enquiry at ATMs
- Purchases at Point of Sale transactions (POS)
- PIN change
Who can use the SMS Express?
SMS Express can be used by all Standard Lesotho Bank customers who have existing transactional accounts and new customers who have opened accounts. In order to get SMS Express, simply visit your nearest branch and apply.
Are there any bank charges/fees?
Our SMS Express service is free of charge.

To qualify you will need:
- An active Standard Lesotho Bank transactional account
- A mobile phone number
- A valid proof of  identification – passport or voters card etc.
