Debt Relief Measures In Response To COVID19

The global concern on the spread of COVID-19 epidemic has given rise to many disruptions on normal business. The dynamics have also had to shift radically and the Bank as a responsible corporate citizen is monitoring the situation closely and working with the relevant authorities to find solutions in the areas we operate in. To that end, Standard Lesotho Bank has   developed the following debt relief measures for clients who have been impacted by COVID-19. 


These debt relief measures could include payment holidays as follows;

             i.        Deferring payments or part payment thereof for a suitable period or


           ii.        extending existing loan periods or


         iii.        extending additional credit to manage short-term cash shortfalls.  

Personal and Business Banking clients are encouraged to make arrangements through their Relationship Managers, Enterprise Direct, Prestige Direct or Customer Contact Centre.

These offers will be extended to clients who are in good standing with the Bank. Customers who are already in arrears are urged to contact the Bank for other personalised solutions other than those mentioned above.
